Sorry for the delayed response, I missed your notification. I see you added aetherflux. Perhaps a Bolas's Citadel and a Sensei's Divining Top to combo with it?

Profet93:I already have Bolas's Citadel in the deck, so it would just come down to what to replace with the Sensei's Divining Top...I'll figure somethin out...

This deck seems very .... confused. On one hand you have swamp synergies, on the other sacrifice synergies, and then you have weird cards like Elder Brain that don't fit into either. I'd suggest picking one of the two theme's and sticking to it.

Cards I would suggest cutting:

Withercrown (just not a good card)

Crypt Incursion (Too situational, its going to be dead a lot of the time)

Xathrid Gorgon (Too slow)

Visara the Dreadful (Removal magnet + too slow)

Consume Spirit (There are better mana sinks than this)

Corrupt (Needs too many swamps to be worth the mana)

Liliana's Shade (Also just not a good card)

Elder Brain (just a weird card in general and too inconsistent)

Cards I would suggest adding:

Abhorrent Overlord (Makes a buch of creatures for your sacrifice triggers)

Pontiff of Blight, Thrull Parasite, Basilica Screecher (More extort cards that synergize very well with K'rrik)

Exsanguinate (Better mana sink than consume spirit)

Nirkana Revenant (Another mana doubler for swamps)

Vein Ripper (Very good for this kind of deck, but it just came out and is currently pricey so I'd wait to buy this one)

Bitterblossom, Dreadhorde Invasion (make a creature every turn for your sacrifice outlets)

Viscera Seer the classic free sacrifice outlet. Also see Woe Strider

Ayara, First of Locthwain (Free creature with K'rrik out and pings opponents every time a black creature enters which usually happens a lot with sac decks)

TheForsakenOne: So, yeah. You got me...I admit, I didn't really -plan- this deck out. I really wanted to build the deck, so I took a lot of Black spells that I enjoy a lot, and threw them together. I mean, to be fair, it works pretty damn good. (lol) I do honestly appreciate the suggestions, however, and plan on implementing what I can. Thank you.

I want to make an argument for Xathrid Gorgon, and please feel free to counter-argument: I like this card because she can shut down Commanders. It doesn't matter if she's fast or not, she doesn't need to be. If I can turn off a Voja, Jaws of the Conclave, an Urza, Lord High Artificer, or even an Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, I consider that a win.

Anyway, thanks again for your time and suggestions.

Rejoinder to Gorgon, it does matter if she's slow because 1) She costs 6 and 2) Without haste, can't use her ability the turn she comes out. Not to mention some decks have sac outlets so they can just do that. The 3 mana you spent in addition to the 6 prior is almost always not worth it. When I first got into MTG, I loved her but as I played in a more semi-competitive environment, she became lackluster, very quickly.

She doesn't fit the deck theme as mentioned, she's a fun card though. It really depends on what you're trying to achieve with this deck/power level. We wanted to offer suggestions to maximize your deck's potential but if you're going for a more fun/casual route, nothing wrong with that.

Profet93: That makes a lot of sense. I appreciate the advice that has been given. I do play on a somewhat more casual meta, however, I do want this deck to be mean and nasty. I don't have the budget for the -really- good cards that would just push this deck over the edge. However, a lot of the suggestions have been doable, I just need to get my hands on some of them. All-in-all, thanks lot for all the help and suggestions!
