This is my attempt at a mono-blue control deck based on the cards I have. I tried to make my creature support synergize with card draw (Chasm Skulker, Faerie Vandal, Ominous Seas) with most of my creatures accessible on my opponents turn to take advantage of counter spells or bounce. I’m also a big fan of using the mutate mechanic to buff my fliers with Sea-Dasher Octopus and Pouncing Shoreshark. The mana curve is also a little misleading with Gust of Wind and Pouncing Shoreshark having a lower alternate casting cost (ditto with Shark Typhoon and it’s cycling option).

I’m still fairly new to MTG and open to suggestions - particularly better counterspell/bounce/removal options or upgrades to cards that I might not be aware of.
