This deck locks down opponents then grinds out the win with mainly Planeswalkers.Some explanations for cards included:

Magma Jet - Chalice of the Void on 1 is one of the strongest early plays, causing a lot of problems for majority of decks. I run this over Lightning Bolt to prevent dead cards.

Pia and Kiran Nalaar - card advantage, resilient to spot removal, road block against aggro. Easier to attack under Ensnaring Bridge with the thopters and possibly the bear.

Chandra, Torch of Defiance - the usual finisher with 2 damage a turn mode, but can also ramp out multiple spells or deal with a threat.

Koth of the Hammer - While sometimes you can't attack with the 4/4 mountains due to Ensnaring Bridge, ticking up Koth till you can -5 to use the direct damage mode helps accelerate the finishing.

I am fairly happy with the mainboard, mainly looking for input on the sideboard as I am running quite a few CMC 1 cards which clash with Chalice of the Void.
