This is my Esper control deck for kitchentable Magic with a Mutate theme.

I chose creatures with Mutate that fit into a control deck: creatures with card draw, discard, lifegain, etc. Included two different creatures with protection so my mutated creature has better chance against some decks. Scuttlemutt can also help to get that protection if needed.

This, plus your usual control cards: removal, draw spells, counterspells. It's not very fast, but a fun deck. I didn't have hexproof creatures in the deck before MOM, but seeing that others do play hexproof with mutate even in kitchentable decks and with so many copies of Saiba Cryptomancer laying around in chaff piles these days, I decided to include two of them. This might be a gamechanger and might make a deck a bit OP in a casual environment but it's too early to tell yet. Hopefully, while now it does what it does much better, it still isn't unbeatable (I know it isn't, it can definityle lose even now) and can still be played in kitchentable without causing too much salt.
