I think that Search for Tomorrow would be a great replacement for Lay of the Land. It has Suspend 2 for one green mana just as lay of the land costs one green. But search for tomorrow will actually ramp you and allow you to play Marwyn a turn earlier. With that being said, the deck is still solid and much stronger than all of my decks!

How do you handle removal sans Asceticism? Darksteel Mutation and it’s variants seem backbreaking

with the infinite mana combos you could totally throw in a Helix Pinnacle

I made some changes. I added Wirewood Lodge and Argothian Elder for another mana combo. I swapped Elvish Visionary for Llanowar Visionary. I also added Leyline of Abundance and Hurricane

Almost identical to my Marwyn Commander deck! I highly recommend Hydra's Growth.

Why are you not running Ashaya, Soul of the Wild?

I added Hydra's Growth. Great card suggestion!

If you want redundancy for being able to assemble an infinite combo, you could also consider Wirewood Channeler!

You're welcome, ANub1s90! Here's the link to my deck, if you're interested: Too Many Elves (Marwyn Commander).

Nice deck! I play Marwyn myself and really like Berserk in my deck. Since you are not gonna attack with Marwyn you dont have to sac her, making it a 1 mana spell to double her power. Its also nice to use on your opponents creature when they attack someone other than you, they have to sac the creature and the opponent being attacked takes more damage. Also, im trying out Malachite Talisman as a replacement for Paradox Engine. Its really not as good, but if Marwyn taps for alot you should have mana left to untap her every time you cast a green spell :). Overwhelming Stampede is also nice since Marwyn tends to get pretty big.

Very nice deck, gave me a few ideas for my own Marwyn deck!

I do like the idea of Berserk, it's a very flexible card, and even more so in this deck. I would like to suggest Seeker of Skybreak. It's not flashy but it triggers Marwyn for a counter and can help her ramp extra or ramp and attack with her the same turn.

Hey there, I don't actually play Commander anymore but I noticed your deck in the Feature Queue and thought I'd take a peek.

I use Vitalize to devastating effect in my Legacy elf build, and I think it'd complement well with a Commander build as well since you've still got a lot of tap elves in there. I feel it's a highly underrated card to be honest, it combos amazingly well with so much that's been added to Green since it was printed.

Also, Wellwisher makes for a fairly reliable and dramatic lifegain mechanic (even better if you can Vitalize him!)

Anyway, +1 on the build because I love Mono-Green and I love Elf builds!

Ambush Commander is another one I run that combos pretty amazingly with Elves. Makes all of your Forest plays a lot more worthwhile (also triggers your Commander there too when you play one (I use her in my elf build too!)

Sylvan Messenger might play well here too for a pseudo-elf tutor.

I have updated this deck to remove almost everything over 4 CMC. This has made this deck even faster. I am just about guaranteed multiple card plays as early as turn 1.
