Elite Arcanist can be the center of a decent deck, right? Help me make that deck.

I'd appreciate comments on how to prepare this deck for post-rotation or how to better focus on a specific game plan.

Right now it's all over the place but I feel like a counterspell on a stick could be fun with a Guttersnipe or Young Pyromancer in play. Should I set up my game using a lot of counterspells or burn? Burn to the face? I don't want to whiff on an Experiment because I draw a bunch of counterspells, but I'd like the option of exiling a counterspell with Elite Arcanist and locking them out of the game.

Are there any similar game plans that have been successful at any level of play? Is there any way to overcome a Supreme Verdict with this game plan?

This is my first deck posting, but don't be gentle! Help me get it off the ground!

Literally every creature I have here dies to Anger of the Gods, unless I manage to counter it. Maybe this is a stupid deck? Is it possible to keep this two colors or should it just become RWU for some Rootborn Defenses or Boros Charmfoil? Supreme Verdict remains a major concern here.
