A little background...My friends and I play the occasional casual massively multiplayer (5-8 people) game of magic. Recently, I was playing a defender mill deck and one of my friends commented that I always have blue in my deck. While I know that I've played non-blue decks with them before I have to admit that most of the time I am playing a blue deck. That really made me wanna build a nonblue multiplayer deck.
If you can't tell by looking at the list, I'm trying to use spellshapers in conjunction with cards that are fine being discarded.
Squee, Goblin Nabob is the enabler of the deck. He's the best thing to discard to your spellshapers.
Goblin Recruiter
this guy gets you your squees and can fetch the kiki-jiki for an infinite angel kill
Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Restoration Angel
is infinite creatures and usually infinite kills
Punishing Fire
and Lingering Souls can also be discarded without too much trouble. There's always lifegain in my meta.
Eternal Dragon
can help fix my mana and can also be discarded and recurred if need be.
Oversold Cemetery
seems like it could be good if I'm discarding a lot of creatures. If something important dies (like a spellshaper) you can try to dump your Squees and resolve the cemetery trigger before squee enabling you to get an important creature and all your squees back.
Elixir of Immortality is included in nearly every deck as games can get long and I don't wanna get milled
Ajani Vengeant is a planeswalker in my colors that I own. He's also got a bunch of ways to remove threats as well as completely turning the tide if you can ult the person that's starting to gain the lead.
Mogis, God of Slaughter
persistent creature removal for all my opponents. Also, doesn't die to Mageta.
Syphon Mind is my card draw.
Mageta the Lion one of the better spellshapers. Repeatable wrath will make him a target but if he sticks he can change the board state and force conservative plays.
Urborg Syphon-Mage
is a house. Pair him with Squee in a multiplayer game and gain upwards of 10 life a turn while whittling your opponents down.
