The group that I usually play in usually has about 2+ control players in the pod at any given moment, and what brought me back to MTG was the big creatures! But it is so annoying to play your BIG BOI and then some cheaper cmc blue card bounces it back to your hand, or for free counters it. Now I am not made out of money so I cannot go out and purchase some really despicable cards, but using what I have, trading, filling in a few weak points, and focusing on synergies I think that it will make them have as miserable of a time that I have playing against their decks.

Ruric Thar is not new when it comes to control hate, but with my take on it I really wanted to focus on making them groan when I pull it out of the case. His ability to just take 6 to the dome is just too good for a creature loving guy like myself to pass up.
