Training Grounds would be bonkers with that second ability, just saying. As for what to cut for it, I would recommend one of the bigger creatures - not nezahal but something similar on curve. Shallow Grave could be a good replacement for rescue from the underworld, even though it's a sorcery it does give haste - and likely the creature won't stick around to get exiled! You could run the Basalt Monolith + Mesmeric Orb combo to mill yourself, putting fuel in the graveyard both to reanimate or cast off your commander. Cuts for the artifacts are iffy, but honestly I kinda think some more high drops but that's up to you

Huh, that's actually a really interesting combo I hadn't known about. I think it's very workable and cheaply costed, but with one catch. If you're going to run both this and Basalt Monolith + Mesmeric Orb , you're going to want a fair amount of artifact recursion. I put in two more pieces ( Buried Ruin and Rootwater Diver ) just to support the Orb combo. Creature-based combos are nice because they're easy to reanimate without Muldrotha, so definitely make sure you can reliably access your artifacts whether they're in the yard or not. Additionally, the more you focus on LabMan combos, the more important it is to protect those combos against spot removal and counters. If you get interrupted during that combo, you just lose. Good control pieces I've tried for this are Glen Elendra Archmage , Null Brooch , Spiketail Drakeling , and Sylvan Safekeeper .

You're very welcome! Hope your deck does well :)

So I think you could use some dredge with things like Golgari Grave-Troll, Dakmor Salvage and the like. Grave-Troll also makes a nice reanimation target with The Mimeoplasm. Sidisi, Brood Tyrant is really good self-mill, along with the infinite mill combo of Basalt Monolith + Mesmeric Orb to make infinite zombos. Counters are definitely missing here, OG Counterspell is a good option, Swan Song, and Dispel are very good defensive counterspells that are pretty cheap $ wise.

Hope this helps!

Basalt Monolith + Mesmeric Orb allows you to dig through your deck. Both work fine by themselves as well.

Rites of Spring allows you to discard your hand for a hand full of basics. Maybe not as useful with this particular deck but you can just do a partial.

First of all, love the deck, I've been looking for a good Sidisi deck ever since I saw how well it interacted with both Meren of Clan Nel Toth and Ezuri, Claw of Progress.

Second, a critique:Your T3 infinite combo is not an infinite combo, unless I am mistaken. Basalt Monolith + Mesmeric Orb will mill you for your entire library, but because you have no shuffle back effect, it can only mill you a finite amount. Sidisi will only make a maximum of 37 zombies under this combo, which is not enough for an Altar of Dementia win. Unless I'm missing something, in which case, please clarify, since I would love to be wrong

Third, you mentioned having a Meren deck. Why is Meren not in here? Her value to a self-mill and a sac deck is disgusting and you're both, so why not toss her in?

So rather than write a really lengthy post I took your (great!) HD combo and adapted it to Thrasios. Here are the results: Thrasios 4 color HD prototype

I adjusted the mana base and acceleration package to facilitate more turn 2 HD wins. I cut all the non essential cards from the 2 angel combos, added more cheap card advantage engines, one drop mana dorks, lowered the curve significantly for Ad Nauseam, and added a second way to set up your Angel of Glory's Rise combo in Basalt Monolith + Mesmeric Orb . While we have different commanders I think you may benefit from adding some of my support and ramp choices.

While I'm not using it because I am using Thrasios, for your commander I really like the Yawgmoth's Will plan but I feel it needs to be more refined.

Im not sure what your referencing but what I mean is Basalt Monolith + Mesmeric Orb to mill enough of your library to reveal the combo pieces needed to win by casting sharuum once. I think it got the name because it is often used with Sidisi, Brood Tyrant and an eldrazi titan to produce a zombie apocalypse.
