Dete, you're right that I should have some mass pump effects. I prefer instants, so I'm going to go with Borrowed Grace over Kytheon's Tactics, but otherwise that all makes sense. I'm looking forward to throwing Warded Battlements into every white PDH deck I have once that card comes out!

Concerning Cenn's Enlistment, I'm not entirely sure why I skipped that card. The high cost is balanced by the replayable aspect of Retrace, so I think I'll slot that in when I make some edits in the future.

Thanks!

You, sir. I admire your earnestness.

For getting more counters, I HIGHLY suggest Yawgmoth, Thran Physician. Golgari is an excellent color combination for getting a ton of cards in your hand and a ton of mana, so you could easily go from a couple of counters to 10 in a turn. Same logic for Planewide Celebration. 7 mana for 4 counters each isn't a bad deal. Lean into green ramp. You can definitely afford to fire off 1-for-1 2-mana green ramp spells, so long as you're drawing with Tymna.

You can amplify the effects of your infect and proliferate cards with Winding Constrictor and Corpsejack Menace. Hand of the Praetors and Phyrexian Swarmlord are infect lords, so they should probably see play. Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons means that all of your infect creatures explode into deathtouching snakes when they trade in combat.

Swamp Mosquito doesn't say infect, but it has non-keyworded Infect. Suq'Ata Assassin has non-keyworded Fear, but also gives poison counters with evasion. If you want to load up on the cheapest, most efficient bodies with infect, then it might be worth running Pit Scorpion, too.

The reason why I would go for a bigger spread of bodies is that it will ultimately be more efficient to load up on instant-speed mass pump spells, rather than having to draw and cast poorly-suited cards for Commander like Giant Growth. In priority order, I'd go Return of the Wildspeaker, Overrun, Pride of Conquerors, Make a Stand, Dark Triumph, Borrowed Grace, Zealous Persecution, Fortify, Sigil Blessing.

I can't belive i'm atually seen a pauper Saproling deck without Sprout Swarm.

I don't really understand why the Velis Veil theme when your cards really don't benefit from the tribal side unless you actually want to sacrifice your engines after pumping them, which feels very bad, honestly.
This deck really wants to go Abzan, you will find better non-tribal spells to finish off your opponent and have an easier manabase. Harsh Sustenance, Foul-Tongue Shriek, Charge, Swarm Surge (kinda flavorful) and Borrowed Grace are great go wide spells in those colors.

Vitaspore Thallid is also pauper legal so it could be an option. Thallid Shell-Dweller could be used in sideboard hold agressive decks.

Nice one, man! Have you thought about Unmake for more removal? Only other suggestions I can think of would be Guardians' Pledge and Borrowed Grace, seen those kick some ass in token decks. Go get 'em, bud!

Glad you like the suggestions. Just wondering though, why are you using Borrowed Grace in side board? What card are you trying to get around that you use this? I might be able to suggest something that can fill this slot a little better pending on your reason. I imagine this is suppose to help counter sweepers like Sweltering Suns or single target control, but i think it would be more useful to run something like Repel the Abominable for a cheaper spell that will stop all "non-human" damage (this includes spells and abilities) or use something like Alley Evasion or Djeru's Resolve for single target protection. If I am wrong on this assumption then I am truly curious what you have planned for the card.

I actually haven't played with the deck yet. Thinking on the best case scenario, t1 Expedition Envoy, t2 Servo Exhibition, t3 Start / Finish, t4 Borrowed Grace, gg.But, been more realistic, I think the average at turn 5/6.
