SaberTech, that makes sense, since Vein Ripper has a very color-heavy cost, so replacing it with Xira would not only lower this deck's mana curve, it would also improve the balance of colors, as well.

also, I do have Archpriest of Shadows in several of my other decks, because she is an amazing creature, but Charnelhoard Wurm is also a great creature, and this is the only deck in which it fits, so I would like to keep it, here.

If it is a choice between the two, then I think that you should replace the Vein Ripper. Your deck theme runs on benefiting from when creatures die. Vein Ripper is a payoff for things dying, but Butcher of Malakir helps to make things die in the first place. I also took a quick look at your deck and only saw a limited amount of mass token generation, which is what you would want alongside free sac outlets to really get the most out of Vein Ripper.

If you were looking for more ways to cut down on the deck's mana curve, one possibility is swapping out Charnelhoard Wurm for something like Archpriest of Shadows. Although, there is something a little fun that you can do with Charnelhoard Wurm. You can use the Wurm as the target for Soul's Fire or Chandra's Ignition, and then after the Wurm deals damage to an opponent you could get the spell back. Both of those spells could also hit really hard if you happened to have a massive Kresh on the board as an alternative target.

Since you're discarding a lot, Archpriest of Shadows is a solid reanimator option. Woebearer and Sword of Light and Shadow can un-discard cards and support your connives, but one's a 5-cost 2/3 and the other's higher budget, if that matters.

Personally, I like the idea of Daxos of Meletis here.

Since you're avoiding combos, what are you looking at for Bracket 3? You get up to three game changers, so are you planning to include any?

I have replaced Visara the Dreadful with Archpriest of Shadows, which reduced the average converted mana cost of this deck from 3.87 to 3.85, since Visara, as excellent as she is, cannot be used to both attack and destroy a creature, whereas the archpriest can do both, and she also can reanimate creatures, which works with the strategy of this deck.

Would Archpriest of Shadows be a good replacement for Visara in either of thsoe decks?

DemonDragonJ on Should I Replace Visara the …

I have a copy of Visara the Dreadful in these two EDH decks, because she can destroy creatures for the generals of those decks to steal, but I wonder if she is the best possible way to do that, since I cannot both attack with her and then user her ability; each of those decks also does contain a copy of Seedborn Muse, but there is no guarantee that I shall draw both of those creatures in the same game, so Visara is rather a risky choice.

For my Teneb, the Harvester deck, I am considering Archfiend of Depravity, Archpriest of Shadows, or Indulgent Tormentor, and, for The Mimeoplasm deck, I am considering either Acidic Slime or Nemesis of Reason, because all of those creatures synergize with the themes of those decks.

What does everyone else say about this? Should I keep Visara the Dreadful in those decks, or replace her with other creatures, and, if I do, with what creatures should I replace her?

Hi! Instead of running Burial Rites or Victimize, try filling those slots also with creatures. Kamiz cares about big beaters that do great things when they connect/attack. Sun Titan is a great one and you've already got it in, great! Here some suggestions: Guardian Scalelord, Archpriest of Shadows, Junji, the Midnight Sky and Sheoldred, Whispering One though this ones more on the saltier side. With Kamiz you are discarding a lot. My advice would be to run one or two graveyard protection spells. Cheap examples are Enhanced Surveillance and Campfire.

Chainer, Nightmare Adept is great, and probably really good redundancy for Garna. I'll also second Archpriest of Shadows in a combat focused deck. With haste that can mean two reanimation triggers in one combat.
