Hello, I am new to the game would anyone be able to tell me the difference between the Sideboard and the Maybeboard?

I know why we have the sideboard but not sure when the Maybeboard would come into effect? Is it just giving you other options of card that you could put into the deck?

Thanks for checking out the deck & offering suggestions AkaAkuma.

I had Coercive Recruiter in a really early version of the deck, but it eventually got outclassed by the eventual upgrades.

Markov Enforcer seems like an interesting option, but I don't think I'd run it. I think it would be a solid budget alternative to some of thr more expensive pieces in the deck. For potentially single target removal, it's a bit slow for my taste, but I can see the upside in this deck.

The black leather suits were not comic loyal but had a tad more realism. In terms of physicality leather gives you more protection from physical blows than spandex and the black color allows the heroes to operate with a measure of stealth at night. They also give a psychological effect.

Making them black hides blood and dirt better than brighter materials, giving an aura of toughness. Black, despite several superheroes in the 1990's wearing it, is still seen by some to be a color of evil. So if you see people in black doing good things you're more likely to trust them. Plus it works into the sort of discipline Cyclops tries to instill in the team, which has probably saved lives.

I don't think the suits are coming back. Having the suits gave 20th Century Fox the room to not flood the film with a lot of backstory, relying on dialogue and several other scenes to flesh out the origins. With Marvel looking to bring the X-Men into MCU they're going to take their time on the origin story.

Als Vorschläge hätte ich vor allem das Deck ein bisschen "schlanker" zu machen. Avatar of Woe und Choice of Damnations aber im Regelfall echt weit weg. Peer into the Abyss kann zwar entweder jemand rausnehmen oder dir viele Karten ziehen aber hat das gleiche Problem wie Phage dass man erstmal dahin kommen muss. SElbes gilt für Profane Transfusion.

Und dann fehlt vielleicht natürlich Stunning Reversal, Nachteil ist dass es dich auf 1 setzt statt wie Lich's Mirror auf 20. Ich würde vielleicht die beiden trotzdem tauschen, weil Stunning Reversal als instant auch noch gut mit Lich's Mastery harmoniert, kauft dir also auf gewisse Art 2 nicht-sterben-Effekte für 1. Das Problem der geringen Lebenspunkte könntest du vielleicht eher mit Deathtouchern angehen, die auch Lifelink haben - Vampire Nighthawk, Qarsi Revenant, NIghthawk Scavenger. Die eignen sich dann auch gut um als backup wincon z.B. ein Vorpal Sword zu tragen, falls Phage aus irgendeinem Grund nicht mehr zum Zug kommt.

Decree of Pain und In Garruk's Wake würd ich auch durch was billigeres ersetzen, bspw. Extinction Event, einfach um besser ins late game zu kommen.
