So my friend, (whom is a compulsive gambler) decided to buy 6 packs of MM2015 after work today. I went with him, because we carpool. And I said, "Fuck it, I will buy 1 pack."
Out of the ONE pack I bought: I pulled a Splinter Twin, Tezzeret the Seeker 
and an Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre!!!
Has something crazy like this happened to any of you guys or was this some crazy weird shit that was a mistake?

I once opened a pack Zendikar that had an Iona, Shield of Emeria, Nissa Revane, and Lethargy Trap F in it. It was cool.

There's a guy on youtube who opened a triple rare pack, 2 of which were foils. He didn't have your value but nonetheless it was a similar situation. Another guy opened a box and his last pack had NO foil.
Sounds like there are a lot of packaging errors. Worked out for you!

Yeah, I was asking the shop owner how these pack errors would work in a sealed pool, like would someone call shenanigans?

and trust me, guys... I literally get no real luck with packs, usually I get junk.
Like, Dark Ascension was the worst set for my luck, I once opened a pack of that dog shit set and pulled a Beguiler of Wills and a foil Beguiler of Wills. I bought a pack of that set just to throw it away unopened. A dude pulled it from the trash and opened it... Beguiler of Wills. By the time Avacyn Restored came out I had 18 of those mother fuckers. 3 foil.

LOL! gnarlicide that's hilarious. My friend had something similar happen with Labyrinth Champion. Not as cool a story because it's not a mythic BUT the guy swore off ever buying packs again at least 8 times because he kept opening more packs with that guy in Theros.
I would buy a fatpack and get Elspeth, Sun's Champion, Thassa, God of the Sea, and Polukranos, World Eater. He'd get excited and buy a fatpack and get... 3 Labyrinth Champions and a foil Labyrinth Champion Hahaha

I feel his pain. Honestly, all of my good cards came from buying singles. I usually open shit. Normally, you would think that I should join sealed tournaments to screw over another guy, right? No. I join a Born of the Gods Sealed pool and I open 2 Brimaz, King of Oreskos and all the bad ass heroic dudes in white and blue with good spells to back them up. It was intense... only to find out that we had to return our sealed pool in a box, where they would be handed out at random. I got some shit pool and went 0-2 drop. the guy that got my pool won the fucking event. FML.

Also, an update to my pulls. I traded all the three rates in to the shop and got six more packs. Pulled a Noble Hierarch. So I am still ahead technically...
The problem is that I have my Legacy deck, EDH and three modern decks completed. I have a standard deck, but seriously, who cares about that. The point is that I don't really NEED anything from this set. I am just kind of opening it for the thrill.

Yeah, opening packs is always fun. I'm just staying away from it entirely. I'm still trying to build a number of modern decks and am just going to take the money I have and use it to buy singles as the prices drop.
That Born of the Gods story... I'm crying in side for you. So wrong. So sorry.

Sick pull man! I want to hear about someone pulling a foil Tarmogoyf and a normal one in draft and dropping.
I've pulled a few gods before in theros draft, unfortunately sucking at magic at the time didn't help haha.
I usually have like 20% 'pull something decent rate.' Like in dtk prerelease, I choose dromoka and pull a Narset Transcendent, and learn splashing in dtk is actually hard unless you happen to get a few lands or monuments(I splashed red cause I had a few good red cards and a land) and splashing just for 1 card isn't worth it to me
Luckily I traded her for an Underworld Cerberus, 2 Polluted Delta's and a Bloodstained Mire cause she was 35$ at the time.
.....I don't mind the planeswalker hype so much anymore

Oh, just remembered, did a sealed thing with some friends with MM15. My buddy got two copies of Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind in one pack, one being foil. So, that decided his deck.

Yeah, I don't usually buy packs. I might buy a box or two when new set comes out for trade fodder for what I need (for standard), and I make a lot of wild speculations, which get flipped for other cards that I need.
The packs that I will open on a regular basis are the ones that I get from getting in Top 8 or higher at local events. But then, once in a while, I splurge and usually pull crap cards.
The running joke at my shop is when I do buy or receive a couple packs, that the new box that the owner opens is safe for random pack purchases, because I took all the bad pulls. People actually ask the owner, "Has this box been pulled by Dave yet?"

Bought 5 packs yesterday and pulled a Daybreak Coronet and a foil Noble Hierarch. I might ask the place I order from if he will hook me up on another box.

I have a friend that bought SIX packs of MM15 and pulled Daybreak Coronet, the rest was jank. Our other friend bought three packs and pulled Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre, Cryptic Command, and something else.
This set is a serious lottery ticket; I'm wary of buying into it... The packaging errors don't ease my anxiety either.

One of the employees at my LGS decided to get a couple packs (without an employee discount, there isn't one for MM15) expecting junk rares. What did he get? Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite and Emrakul, the Aeons Torn. As I understand it, he then opened four more packs before he hit something that wasn't worth at least what he paid for the pack (usually more).
Then I had a friend who opened a foil Elesh Norn followed by an Iona, Shield of Emeria.
Me, I've only opened three packs, nothing like that. I'm in agreement with aeonstoremyliver: at $10 a pack it's kind of a crapshoot. Worth drafting, because that is fun... but I'm not too interested in buying packs when I could spend that money on singles.

Wow that's insane! Great pull man! The other day I bought one pack of MM because the modern tournament didnt make so I just said fuck it,and I opened my second dark confidant,right after that one of my friends traded in a good deal of cards and opened a tarmogoyf! Not near as crazy or odd as yours but cool nonetheless.
