Simic nexus win-con?

I found a deck that placed second in a SCG grand prix, but I looked at the decklist and I couldn't find any way to win. There's no damage dealt, no card that says "If ___ then win" and I just don't know how it won any game. Could someone please explain this to me?

The decklist is as follows: Narset, Parter of Veils x3 Tamiyo, Collector of Tales x3 Wilderness Reclamation x4 Blink of an Eye x2 Chemister's Insight x4 Growth Spiral x4 Nexus of Fate x4 Root Snare x4 Search for Azcanta  Flip x4 Callous Dismissal x1 Drawn from Dreams x2 Forest x6 Island x7 Blast Zone x2 Breeding Pool x4 Hinterland Harbor x4 Memorial to Genius x1 Temple of Mystery x2

Amass from Callous Dismissal infinitely recurred by Tamiyo, Collector of Tales , read the cards.

TypicalTimmy that's stupid. No player of simic nexus on any Grand Prix (MagicFest) or Pro Tour have ever played the deck in such a method. In fact purposefully looping infinitely when a valid win condition in infinite Callous Dismissal exists is actually an illegal play, which can be called out by a judge, causing a dq if I am correct.

Ok I'm really confused on this one: how exactly are you infinitely recurring the Callous Dismisal?

Oh wait I see now. But that's like... 6 mana needed per turn at sorcery speed for a 1/1 or a +1/+1 counter on that 1/1 which can't actually be that useful or fast.

dbpunk when you have infinite turns it won't matter. Also, it is 2 mana every 4 turns.

Again, I'm declaring myself a noob to this style of play here, but it seems like if Callous Dismissal was your win-con then you'd have 4 of it in the deck, and you'd need quite a bit of luck to be able to cast Nexus of Fate turn after turn after turn and by the time you've got your combos up and running your opponent will have killed you via small creatures. I'm just trying to understand how this deck did so well.

There are four Nexus of Fate s, but there's only one Callous Dismissal

Well, there are infinite with Tamiyo, Collector of Tales , which constantly recurs it. That is why it only needs one.

But if you have four you're more likely to draw one without looping so much. Whatever, I'll just stick to my regular boring non-infinite loopy ways of winning.
