DECK DESIGN: The Forest is our home.

You’ve Got Wurms is a tribal elf deck that uses its resources to cheat large creatures into play. The deck has the potential to win through sheer numbers, as well as produce overwhelming amounts of mana and life.

SYNERGY: Its where we love, we laugh, and live our lives.

Seeker of Skybreak is a major contributor in this deck, as he can untap Elvish Archdruid or Priest of Titania to generate tons of green mana, or can be used in conjunction with Wellwisher to generate an excess of health. When used with Immaculate Magistrate, you can make an intimidating beast out of even the most mundane creatures.

Lure of Prey does a fine job of aiding us in getting a large creature out quickly. I’ve lain a third turn Worldspine Wurm in response to an opponents summoning spell. It also works well to drop a surprise blocker during the combat phase if your opponent managed to cast a creature during their main phase. Fierce Empath does a fine job of fetching our Worldspine Wurm or Elderscale Wurm when needed.

Beast Within and Acidic Slime help remove potential threats or combo pieces our opponents play.

SIDEBOARD: There are those that would take it from us.

The Sideboard is currently under development.

BUDGET: Those that would encroach on our home.

I build every deck under a $100 budget, to be affordable for most casual players. While this removes many of the higher priced and sought after cards from my potential pool, it also forces me to be creative and look into a wider scope of cards. Occasionally I have a deck that exceeds this amount, either due to price inflation over time, or getting a few lucky pulls in packs that I opted to keep, and in those rare cases, I will attempt to annotate replacement options that would bring the deck back in line with this budget.
