First Deck since recently returning to Magic during December's Showdowns. I was playing the Nissa Planeswalker Kaladesh deck, which was fun, but I wanted to check out how much I could tweak Blue Green Energy. My previous experience was back in Alliances. So, seeking honest feedback.
Strategy is pretty simple. Use lower costed creatures to stall and build energy, use the Trophy to fetch a pummeler, then use buffs to make the Pummeler more threatening.
I'm working from a limited collection currently, so this is what I can reasonably assemble for next time at FNM, but I feel like it might not be that great, and that I've borked something terribly in the assembly.
Thanks for reading and commenting.
Update 1: After running a variant of this in locals, (Including the Dynavolt, which has helped!) I had some success and feel like I want to keep pursuing a Green/Blue deck. I can't keep relying solely on the Pummeler, however, so I'm looking into other options. One key issue is that I very much went with a "Power 9" Deck building theme, so now I am in the phase where I need to shave off card counts to add in more options, but still retain my main cards for my win condition.
Update 2: Had some success with this new variant at FNM, but then it fell on it's face hard vs Saheeli/Cat in a Grand Prix qualifier at my local store. Unfortunately, we only had 8 people show so the field immediately cut to 8 with single elims, and I was not able to get more practice.
