Spirit deck!

This tempo deck uses spirit fliers to get damage through and creatures with Flash and ETB effects to counter spells. Essence Flux is a great way to reuse those ETB effects. Bygone Bishop gets us card draw and Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit makes the creatures bigger. Selfless Spirit saves my creatures, either an individual creature or all of them from a board wipe, including my 2-of Planar Outburst, which can restart the board or just destroy the opponent's creatures and Selfless Spirit. Nebelgast Herald stops an attack or a block, Mausoleum Wanderer becomes big and can counter spells. Spell Queller is just a ridiculous card- it's already good value as a 2/3 with flying and flash, but the counter ability takes it to the next level. Rattlechains ties the whole deck together, giving almost all of my cards instant speed and saving a fellow spirit in a pinch. To make it less of a creature-control tempo deck and more pure control, cut Anafenza, the Bishop, and Always Watching in favor of counterspellls and maybe card draw.
