Yeah you should Sleazebag. Credit goes to Tom Domine of XGeN Alters. You can look him up on Facebook. His prices are very fair and the turnaround was very fast, especially for such nice work.

Hmm, not bad. Oloro is only considered tier 2 though. How do you fare against truly degenerate decks like Zur, Narset, Derevi and the like?

Oloro is Tier 2? what?? I'd like tyo see the chart you're pulling from that hes not tier 1.

_SeriosSkies_ I loosely base it off of this list.
There are a few obvious mistakes, like Arcanis the Omnipotent and Roon of the Hidden Realm being tier 1 and Animar, Soul of Elements only being tier 2, but otherwise it's proven quite accurate.

It would be nice if they posted the deck lists upon which they based their conclusions.

Yea i noticed all the comments were for decklists. Also ive faced some pretty brutal roon decks. I will say that i dont play at the pricetag of competitiveness that this or other top tier decks are

That's the guy's angle. He builds competitive decks, then makes them a view of them public to prove he knows what he's doing and to pique people's interest. Then he tries to slam people for 40$ when they ask for the non-posted deck lists. It's a scam, but it still gives an idea on which commanders are good.

Or it could be a way two pull stuff out of his ass and profit off of people's naivety, and manipulate card prices.
Regarding Oloro, he's pretty much THE Esper commander these days, except for Zur, but Zur will get you auto-hated on.

Sharuum combo is quite good, and Sydri is alright. Actually, Esper probably has the most viable commanders of any single color combination except perhaps for mon-blue. Oloro is definitely amazing though.

About the only card I dislike in this deck is Arcane Sanctum just because I think you could do better with another fetchland.
But I see you don't run fetches that don't hit two of your colours e.g. Scalding Tarn?

Fair point, but let's see if I can sway your thinking..
The manabase ends up being very consistent for me, and I really don't favour one colour over another to the point where I would "waste" a card slot on a fetch that didn't get me "full" value in terms of what I'd need.
This deck is primarily white, and therefore I run more white basics. Almost every colour producing non-basic land is equally represented in terms of having one of each, from all the major sub-sets.
In my mind, having a slow tri-colour land is more valuable. Perhaps City of Brass wouldn't make a bad addition here instead, but I think I prefer a coloured mana producer over another fetch.
It's late, I hope this made sense.

I'd have to agree with Cowardly_Dave. Having another fecth land would be almost a strict improvement over Arcane Sanctum. It may not be able to grab to perfect land every single time, but thanks to the dual lands, you'll at least always be able to get the color you need the most every time. That, and it thins out your library of dead draws and shuffles your library to boot.
Heck, I would even go so far as to recommend cutting a few more lands, possibly Creeping Tar Pit and Celestial Colonnade among others, to try to play all nine fetches you can use. I recently upgraded my Zur the Enchanter combo/control list to run all nine available fetches, and it's definitely improved the deck's consistency.

Fair enough. I'll test out a Windswept Heath in place of the Arcane Sanctum and see how it all runs.

How have you found running both Maze of Ith and Kor Haven? I bumped Kor Haven out of my Oloro Homebound Ascetic, EDH in favor Gemstone Caverns for multiplayer, also got Glacial Chasm for testing.
One other land consideration, I've been pretty disappointed with Bojuka Bog, coming in tapped when I need mana or not exiling a graveyard nastiness at instant speed.
Side note: you're still happy with Hallowed Burial and Terminus with the new tuck rules?

Honestly, I still really like both Maze of Ith and Kor Haven, particularly against generals to reduce the clock they can put on games. They both do a lot a good work for me and I intend to keep them in for the time being. Glacial Chasm is interesting, and I have considered it, but I haven't tested it out extensively.
Bojuka Bog is a great card. I can't imagine why you'd dislike it.
And even with the new tuck rule, Hallowed Burial and Terminus are both great, not for Commanders, but just to take developed boards full of other threats, and burying them deep. I would rather do that than try to destroy them.

Yeah Maringam.... After this became the top rated Oloro build on here, I felt compelled to make it pimp.... A matter of pride I suppose.

Uhm... You should just fund all the decks on this site. I'll send you my billing address; I'm considering U/B Vintage Storm ;)
JK - I really like this deck.

Ender666666: Damn, those are amazing! I think I need to get in contact with the guy who made your alters... First I need to decide which ones to alter though.
