Because Surrak, Bearpuncher was the Temur Khan.
The deck is primarily RG, but with a splash of blue in the sideboard in order to help filter our draws in matches against slower decks such as control.
The goal of this deck is to pull of the Electrostatic Pummeler combo, while still maintaining a fairly aggressive play style through the use of creatures such as Longtusk Cub,Voltaic Brawler, and
Lathnu Hellion
.
We protect our creatures with Blossoming Defense, and use pump spells such as Built to Smash and Larger Than Life both to enable our combo with Pummeler, as well as to help our other creatures bash through for extra damage.
Our sideboard is mostly designed to help us in longer, more grindy games, with Aether Theorist filtering our draws, Aethersquall Ancient being a late game win con, Slip Through Space letting us get our Pummeler through against a board full of creatures, and
Deadlock Trap
helping us shut down plansewalkers.
