Sideboard

Rats are a plague. They get into the battlefield and mess up your lovely game of Magic.

Looking to improve the hand disruption side of the deck without the obvious AU$200 addition of playsets of Thoughtseize and Inquisition of Kozilek. I might cave in and make the upgrade, but first want to determine if there is anything I can do as a cheaper option. Also wouldn't mind suggestions for card draw/removal improvals. Even though I love comboing Altar's Reap into Tragic Slip the first part of that combo can end up being a dead card in bad match ups.

And finally, more suggestions for sideboard cards to help various modern matchups would be appreciated.

Updates Add

Made some significant changes to the deck that I'm currently proxying before buying. Downsizing the creature base for heavier removal package. Gnat Miser is being swapped out for Nezumi Shortfang  Flip for more recurring discard. Leaving the playset of Swarmyard to protect the Shortfang, but if I find Mutavault paying off more, I'll probably change the quantities for both. Still open to plenty of new feedback
