Sideboard

This deck focuses on using the Improvising mechanic on Herald of Anguish to your advantage. The fastest I got Herald out was by turn 2. When he enters the battlefield, he pressures your opponent right away as a big body early on and he also pressures your opponent by making them discard at the end of each of your turns. The fastest this deck has ever played for me was a turn 5 win, which I think was a once in a lifetime thing.

Turn 1: Play a Swamp (You need to have 2 black by turn 2), play any combination of Ornithopter and Cathar's Shield (Make sure you have a total of 4), then play Hope of Ghirapur.

Turn 2: Play a Swamp and then play Herald of Anguish.

Turn 3: Play an Island and cast Tezzeret's Touch on an artifact other than Hope of Ghirapur, swing for 11. Say they have a blocker. Life Total 14. Sacrifice Hope of Ghirapur so they can't cast noncreature spells on their turn.

Turn 4: Play a land that enters untapped. Now from here, depending on the board state, you can enchant another artifact to swing for 15, or you can sacrifice a useless artifact to kill a creature and then also grasp to kill another one You swing in for 10 but they still have one blocker left, leaving them at 4.

Turn 5: Play a land if you have one, kill your opponent's left over creatures, if any, and swing for game.
