I've always loved Pyromancer Ascension - and I've played a variant of this for a while - but with the new sets, and recently getting back into MTG - I've tossed this together after spending a few hours perusing U/R cards in Modern... so before my eyes bleed - I figured I'd post this and see what folks think.

Sideboard is still in the works, and I still really want to play Staggershock but it's in the maybeboard for now..

edit: I see now that the idea is actually pretty popular and am psyched to see Pyromancer Ascension getting love - also seems that I'm pretty close to the popular lists - so please don't frag on that, but I accept that there are only so many good cards to use with this so it was inevitable.

edit: Maybeboard are items I'd consider for main or sideboard play depending on playtest. Suggestions welcome if someone has something more fitting than what's in play. while Grapeshot is a wincon, I rarely end up actually using it.. I tend to burn through faster than that. I kind of like Take Inventory because of the pure draw power, seeing as CIH can be an issue.
