My favorite card, and the card that I always insist is the greatest card in Magic, is back in standard with a new art! Ornithopter! So I'm finally doing it. I'm making an Ornithopter-based standard deck that will hopefully be at least moderately competitive.

The basic idea of the deck will be a mix between the old Ensoul Artifact standard deck and thopter tribal.

With Tezzeret's Touch being released, we have a replacement for Ensoul Artifact.

I'm using a lot of cool answers from Aether Revolt to have responses to other big decks. Daring Demolition for removal against creatures and vehicles will be very helpful against all the powerful new vehicles. Fatal Push is a very powerful card all-around. Metallic Rebuke becomes a 1-cost counterspell with all my thopters, and Disallow will be great against spells and planeswalker abilities.

So far I haven't really ventured out of Aether Revolt for cards, so if you have a recommendation of a Standard card from another set that you think will make this deck better, let me know.
