Welcome to Kitbash, the combination of nearly every non-standard set from Battle Royale to Archenemy: Nicol Bolas in a supplemental-only format.

Many of the best decks in the current format are fast but disruptable with the right pieces. Daze, the Vapors, and the mainboard Relic of Progenitus hedge against the fastest decks that can land It That Betrays on T1. Ancestral Vision and the restricted Treasure Cruise give it the endgame steam to win through True-Name Nemesis with Fireblast support. Due to lack of shuffling, Izzet Charm replaces Brainstorm for selection. The sideboard has Tormod's Crypt for more reanimator hate, Cyclonic Rift for tokens and slivers, Price of Progress which is amazing burn when applicable, and the 'walker pair for the control mirror.

Kitbash Casual:

Also under development is a Casual version of Kitbash allowing Conspiracies and other special cards. Currently Kitbash+Conspiracy allows one Conspiracy. Under consideration for this deck is Hired Hesit (naming True-Name Nemesis), Double Stroke (naming Lightning Bolt or Ancestral Vision), Backup Plan for free mulligans, and Iterative Analysis for free cantrips.
