Greetings fellow Planeswalkers. This is my new eldrazi aggro creation. My idea was to create a Rakdos aggro deck that was more flexible than your average aggro deck. I ran Rakdos aggro when BFZ came out and I very much enjoyed it. The key players from that deck were Vile Aggregate, Forerunner of Slaughter, & Ghostfire Blade. These cards have earned their keep and remain key cards for this deck.

OG has unlocked many interesting new options to R/B aggro. Wastes also add a new dimension, though you would think adding another color (essentially) would slow R/B aggro down a bit. Upon researching OG's new lands, I have found that three of these are tailored to devoid aggo, and can make it work. Corrupted Crossroads helps this transition considerably, as it gives you colorless & any color mana to cast devoid spells. What makes it even better is that it doesn't come into play tapped. Sea Gate Wreckage adds colorless & gives you a card draw engine when you need it most. How many times have you ran out of cards playing aggro? That's what I though...This one does it while giving you colorless mana & doesn't come into play tapped either.Ruins of Oran-Rief is probably the least necessary, as it does come into play tapped, but how nice is it to buff all creatures entering the battlefield with a +1 counter each time? This also solidifies your colorless mana base.

The creature additions of OG are the most exciting part about this deck. I think this may actually be a deck Inverter of Truth can run in. Iv'e only inserted two copies of it and I think it's gonna be a great closer. Iv'e found with this deck, that your library just turns into pump/burn spells when he is played. On the other side of the coin, who cares if your graveyard becomes your deck if he kills them the next turn (especially with a more than likely Titan's Strength, Wild Slash,Spatial Contortion, or Exquisite Firecraft )? 6 flying damage not enough for you? Have an Eldrazi Mimic first and you have 12 . Forerunner of Slaughter makes it even more appealing by granting it haste for an extra mana. The inclusion of colorless mana sources also opens the door for Bearer of Silence. This is a removal spell and an evasive threat in one package. Even at 1B, it's a great creature in the early game. Get a Ghostfire Blade on that baby and hammer away. Me likey. It's similar to Wasteland Strangler, but costs less & has flying. It also doesn't require ingested cards. Reaver Drone is a welcome addition & offers a nice upgrade from Sludge Crawler.

Removals & tricks are gonna stay the same for the most part. The only big addition here is Spatial Contortion. I love this card for this deck. It handles anything in the way, during the early game, and adds extra damage to your drazi late game at instant speed. This is why I chose it over a spell like Grasp of Darkness. Spells like Wild Slash & Exquisite Firecraft can handle threats or finish a game without being stopped.

The goal of the deck is to pummel your opposition quickly & make it very difficult for them to stop lethal in the mid game. The threat of Inverter of Truth, Eldrazi Mimic, Vile Aggregate, Exquisite Firecraft, & Wild Slash make this increasingly difficult to do. This deck has great synergy and the ability to do a lot of different things. Especially for an aggro deck. I am by no means an expert of Magic the Gathering. These are simply my thoughts. Let me know what you think about my deck. I'm always open to constructive criticism. Have a good one mates.
