Whip of Erebos - Lifelink. If anything gets countered, use the effect it has.
Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx and Crypt Ghast - Mana Ramp

Erebos, God of the Dead - No life gain for the opponent. If you have no cards in your hand, you have enough mana from Crypt Ghast or Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx to draw freely and enough life to draw as well.
My sideboard works for Selesnya decks as well as control decks.
Lifebane Zombie works for Selesnya.
Sanguine Bond + Crypt Incursion works because if they keep counter/kill your creature, well they used most of their counter/kill cards on the creatures, making Crypt Incursion deadly.
