An attempt at a simple ramp deck; turn one ramp enchantment, turn two three drop, turn three four drop, turn your guys sideways. Gnarlid is pretty good even as a 3/3 and can get totally out of hand.
Revelers are the best other 3-drop I could find, and frankly Putrid Leech is better than any 3 drop out there besides Gnarls. I had Phyrexian Rager there, but it's just such an unimpressive attacker.
Penumbra Spider is there because of all the damn edicts in the format; possibly I should throw over some of my other non-gnarlids for persist dudes (troll and safehold elite).
Crypt Rats are a bit of a stretch with this mana, but I'm not really going for a rat-them-out approach; might be better with Evincar's Justice.
Devour Flesh is because I don't own edicts; I did side it in as an emergency measure vs. burn.
I had doom blades, but doom blade is just horrible now. Paralyze could be amusing and old-school.
I would have more Disciples for burn but the guy I was getting Theros commons from only had the one.
I kind of want a couple more ramp spells to drop on turn one; maybe Search for Tomorrow, or maybe Arbor Elf, which has the major downside that it's very vulnerable, but the major upside that it lets you get out turn 2 4-drops with a land enchant (and a second land). Another option is a couple Young Wolf to drop on turn one if no mana ramp is available and soak up edicts and other removal.
