Gaea's Aurora Fueled Revenge

Ok, so people are claiming ramp decks are the new thing. Well let me tell you, they aren't playing ramp, they're playing high mana cost creature decks. THIS is a ramp deck.

So here's the plan, ramp your mana.

Why you ask? Not to cast a giant creature, but to cast The Great Aurora. You WILL have more permanents than the opponent. You WILL draw 25+ cards, you WILL drop 14 lands, play multiple Gaea's Revenge and WIN THE GAME.

Oh and you'll have a bajillion life when you do that. Oh and don't forget to float all of your mana before casting the Aurora.

Oh and don't forget you can chain Aurora's too.

BUT!

I NEED YOUR HELP!

LET US RAMP, NOT FOR CREATURES BUT FOR THE SAKE OF RAMPING ITSELF.

THIS WILL BE GAEA'S REVENGE!!!!

So a few additional thoughts, first off this is a budget deck that does incredible game breaking things.

It makes excellent use of Greenwarden of Murasa, buying back Nissa's Renewal etc which is straight up the best card to play for this deck. Alternatively you can bring back an Aurora that was countered.

Tireless Tracker is insane!! Guess what, all those clues are permanents, and with all that mana laying around they provide some serious card draw to find your Aurora.

Gaea's revenge comes down with haste, hexproof AND cant be countered. So unless the opponent has a flash creature, he will be getting through.

The life gain can be insane. The only problem is surviving till turn 7 for a giant Aurora. That explains the Pulse in the sideboard for aggro decks, also just buying back a jaddi offshoot is totally worth it. BUT rebuying pulse with Greenwarden which can then be used to rebuy Greenwarden when he dies is a recursive bit of craziness too. Might be main deck worthy instead of the retreat to kazmandu.

Thanks for reading. Please share your thoughts!

Hey All - Thanks for all the great feedback on the deck. I'm having a ton of fun playing it and during playtesting shows some serious results. I only play casual with my circle of friends but the deck definitely performs.

One variant that looks extremely strong comes from the comments section. Check out http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/aurora-disruption/ by Nokci. He added in some white for secure the wastes/dec in stone etc and it looks solid.

Again thanks for all the help, feel free to post your deck testing results below, would love the feedback.
