Vigilante Justice
helps to burn through the opponent's life while you build your champion and pridemate, or just blink for kicks.
Sundial of the Infinite may seem pointless, but using it with Venser, the Sojourner makes all the difference. With Detention Sphere attached to an opponent's permanent, blink it out of the game. Then activate the Sundial of the Infinite. The turn ends and wipes the stack clean. So the enemy never gets their card back. At the end of THEIR turn, Detention Sphere will reenter and you may select a new target. rinse and repeat until your opponent's board is clear and you have the advantage.

and Cloudshift to exile two creatures! First play
Fiend Hunter
. Then, in response to his "enters the battlefield" ability, play Cloudshift to exile it. This will trigger his "leaves the battlefield"" ability. But since the first ability hasn't resolved yet, there's nothing to return. The last action on the stack is to exile target creature. Which means it's gone permanently!! And, when
Fiend Hunter
renters, you get to exile another creature!! Once the path is clear, attack for the win.

Whether you're boosting health, pumping creatures, or exiling permanents, Venser, the Sojourner can do it. He can even drop in and let your pumped up Ajani's Pridemate, or Champion of the Parish in for the kill. Making him king of the Banishers
