This deck is a fast paced white/red deck that I am hoping to build and play when born of the gods comes out. Let me know what you think.
This deck centers on being able to kill your opponent on turn 3 or 4 depending on your draw. Fabled hero is the main star of this deck
Lets break this deck down shall we :
Creatures-
Hopeful Eidolon and
Nyxborn Rollicker
are one drop cards for the deck. They are great for playing on turn one as well as later they are still viable because they are able to be used as Enchantments to buff my creatures like Fabled Hero as well as give counters for Ethereal Armour.
Hero of Iroas
is the two drops of the deck.
Hero of Iroas
is a good addition because of his ability to make all the enchantment auras cheaper to play, as well as I can buff him with the spells activating his heroic. The biggest thing is he makes bestowing Hopeful Eidolon,
Nyxborn Shieldmate
, and Eidolon of Countless Battles cheaper and come out earlier.
Fabled Hero and Eidolon of Countless Battles are the three drops. Fabled Hero can become scary very fast when he becomes enchanted. Madcap Skills and he is hitting for 12, throw in a Titan's Strength and he hits for 20. Eidolon of Countless Battles is a great addition to the deck in that he can be a scary guy on his own or buff my other creatures to crazy proportions.
Ajani, Caller of the Pride is the other three drop of the deck. There is not much I have to explain for him really. His +1 is great for making my creatures stronger. His -3 is basically a win con.
Spells-Titan's Strength, Gods Willing, Ethereal Armor are the one drop spells. Gods Willing is great for protecting my creatures from kill spells, as well as activating heorics, and allowing them to become pretty much unblockable for a turn. The scry is pretty useful as well. Titan's Strength is a great buff spell and can be thrown on at instant speed to add that extra punch. Just like Gods Willing the scry can be pretty useful as well. Ethereal Armor becomes great in this deck. With the addition of Enchantment creatures it can eaisly give +3, +4, +5 by turn 3. Place this on Hopeful Eidolon and you have a 3/3 first strike lifelink creature turn two.
Madcap Skills, and Boros Charm are the two drops of the deck. Madcap Skills is a great buff spell making any of my creatures pretty strong as well as making it so they have to be blocked with two or more creatures. Once again this on Fabled Hero and he becomes pretty scary. Boros Charm has many many great uses. It can be used to do that little bit of dmg to kill your opponent. It can give all my creatures invulnerability to survive kill spells and board wipes. The double strike makes it so my other creatures, other than Fabled Hero can swing for godly amounts.
Sideboard-Brave the Elements- is another spell to protect my creatures from kills spells and make them unblockable.
Celestial Flare
to get rid of pesky attackers like Blood Baron of Vizkopa who I cant just kill with my creatures.
Glare of Heresy
to get rid of those pesky [[Detention Spheres], Elspeth, Sun's Champion, and Ajani, Caller of the Pride.
Mizzium Mortars to once again deal with Blood Baron of Vizkopa and Stormbreath Dragon
Revoke Existence
is good to take out gods, the legendary god weapons, and other annoying enchantments and artifacts.
