Sideboard

"Welcome, to Jurassic Park." John Williams score swells, and you feel that sense of movie adventure only a great Spielberg movie can achieve. While this deck doesn't exactly recreate that feeling, it gets pretty close. It is still in its brewing baby infancy, so expect to see a lot of changes. However, despite the naysayers, Dinosaur decks have awesome potential. The only thing really missing is a true "Dino Lord." I mean we have Thundering Spineback, but testing with him has been less than stellar.

This deck curves out super nicely, and hitting with a Carnage Tyrant (with haste, trample, and hexproof) always feels good.

I opted for four (4) Otepec Huntmaster and Drover of the Mighty. This helps keep you steadily ramping against board wipes, spot removal, and others. It's only been an issue when you are sitting on 2 mana with a Rhonas the Indomitable in hand, but that's not been very common in testing.

Had my butt handed to me. Sadly, after two (2) SCG nights tourneys and two (2) FNM losses, this deck needs an overhaul. The current standard meta (at least around where I play) is just too strongly against heavy creature based strategies. Dino's just do not have the power (right now) that is needed to be a breakout deck. Swapped out a couple lands and the plainswalkers for more dinos.
