This deck is best piloted when treating the match as a solo game. Yes, it's counter-intuitive to the subtext of the game, but it's effective none the less.

It has two primary win conditions:

  • Draining your oponent's health
  • One shotting them via Vraska

Golgari Charm and Death Frenzy help out with an alternative win condition, enabled via Life and Limb. If you math it out right, you will be able to destroy all of your token creatures (including your lands, which would be creatures at the time), in order to drain the last of your oponent's life. It's a risky move when playing versus lifelink/lifegain or counter-heavy decks, so I wouldn't recommend defaulting to this strategy.

The main deck should give you plenty of options to draw and it has removal to deal with enchantments and fliers. The deck's weakness is boardwipes, so make sure to have backup plans. Thus far, I can't find any budget alternatives to Heroic Intervention, so I'm open to ideas on that front. I also recomend experimentation with replacing Dina, as she's not the best fit for this type of deck. Sometimes it works, other times Dreampod Druid is a better fit, thanks to Fists of Ironwood.

I'm very proud of my creation, as this is the first deck that I've completely built on my own, without sourcing any ideas online and I appreciate that you took the time to check it out. I hope that you will find it fun and engaging if you ever decide to try it out.
