The idea behind this deck is to get creatures evolving quickly and for those evolutions to provoke further evolutions. There's also some card draw with Fathom Mage for keeping options open, removal with Cyclonic Rift, and manaramping with Elvish Mystic and Gyre Sage.

Garruk, Caller of Beasts greatly helps with creature availability. Prophet of Kruphix + Garruk, Caller of Beasts work great as Garruk, Caller of Beasts accelerates my ability to get creatures out and Prophet of Kruphix makes the most of the extra creature cards in hand.

Renegade Krasis is the most pivotal creature in the game, since its passive ability can quicken the pace of the evolutions of all my other creatures. Kalonian Hydra and Master Biomancer will highly contribute to increasing the rate of stacking evolution counters. Boon Satyr is strong on its own but can also be bestowed on Master Biomancer to greatly increase the +1/+1 counters on other creatures entering the battlefield.

Simic Charm is a fantastically versatile card--it can be used for avoiding spells that would send creatures back into my deck (with the hexproof permanents ability), or for combating/temporarily removing overly strong enemy creatures. Bioshift is similarly versatile: if an opponent uses a kill card on a creature on whom I have placed most of my +1/+1 counters, I can easily move the counters to another creature without many losses.

Cards like Elusive Krasis and Kalonian Hydra will ensure direct damage to the opponent.
