Races on the ground. Does a bunch of incidental damage. Can close out with flyers. Has a two card / two damage continual loop. Win super quick. Or don’t and probably lose.

Can be tuned for Rakdos midrange or built out into a grindier Mardu deck once the meta slows down a bit.

Decent choice for early standard meta.

3-1 FNM — Feb. 2, 2019

0-2 vs Gate Deck — started off rough. Got opponent to 1 life on game two, but they stabilized with clarion blast lifelink. Never came back from that.

2-1 vs Grixis Drakes — went too fast for opponent game 1. Game 2 was opponent’s. Game 3 I went fast again. Opponent made a misplay. Didn’t read Judith’s damage ability clearly, made a bad block, and fell too far behind.

2-0 vs Gate Deck — Opponent has to mulligan to 5 game 1. I went super fast. They couldn’t get anything going before it was over. Game two opponent mulliganed to 6. I aided in a tad more removal for the gate 2/2 that gets bigger nonsense. Kept the board in check. Went wide. Easy win.

2-1 vs RDW— great games. Game 1 I lost pretty quickly. Game 2 I sided in a lot of removal. Easy game 2 win. Game 3 I sided in hand disruption and removal. Drew 2 Duress in opener. Very backbreaking for opponent. They flooded out and lost to nonstop gutter bones and fanatical.
