This is basically made for players of the Splinter Twin decks in modern that don't have a deck to play now that Splinter Twin is banned.
Overview
The basic idea of the deck is to stall until turn 5 with things like Pestermite, Vendilion Clique, Remand and the like. On turn five, with a the digging with cards like Serum Visions and Electrolyze, you should hopefully have a Keranos, God of Storms and start drawing and dealing massive amounts of damage while preventing your opponent from dealing you damage with your control spells.
Control Package
This deck has a pretty sweet control package, which consists of the following:Dispel, great for any instant/sorcery.
Spell Pierce, great to counter something that the opponent tapped out for, and also ridiculously funny.
Remand, just an all-round excellent card. It counters any spell AND draws a card, for only two mana.
Cryptic Command is one of the most versatile magic cards; it can be used for a variety of different situations AND draw a card, a very important function for this deck.
Cantrips/Burn
Lightning Bolt is probably the best burn in magic, and at least in modern. It's hilarious when you reveal a Lightning Bolt off of Keranos, God of Storms, dealing six damage.
Serum Visions draws cards and scrys. 'nuff said, great for the deck.
Electrolyze is basically Lightning Bolt and Serum Visions combined. It does deal only two damage, but you can split that damage between creatures and opponent, and it also draws a card.
The Creatures
Of course, we run Keranos, God of Storms. It is an obvious auto-include. It fuels all of what this deck was built for, and WILL win you games.
Nivmagus Elemental: in late game once you have Keranos out but a lot of spells to cast that won't do anything, this card can get big because you will have 5,6, or even 7 mana open to pump this guy up big!
Snapcaster Mage one of the most funny things to cast, because you can flash it in at the most opportune moment and kill something with Lightning Bolt or counter a spell. It's hilarity is not as funny as...
Vendilion Clique is so useful. It even draws you a card, in addition to being annoying to your opponent, and having 3 power, and having flying. Super good.
