I've been wanting to build something like this, and there are a few key parts to it.

Archangel of Thune + Blood Artist : this puts you on the fast track to big creatures

Cartel Aristocrat + Sublime Archangel : sacrifice a token, give the aristocrat protection from a color, and swing for a lot.

Sanguine Bond + Whip of Erebos : essentially causes twice as much damage if it deals combat, but still deals regular damage if blocked.

Archangel of Thune + Whip of Erebos : It gets stupid. Enough said.

Doomed Traveler + Xathrid Necromancer : a one drop that gives a 1/1 flyer and a 2/2 zombie? Sure.
