This is for TBD standard. This is a first draft using one of my favorite cards Dawn of Hope. I’m hoping it will still be a decent t2 card for the format.

So a couple of thoughts I have with the deck. It’s more midrange tokens with some very weaker centric synergies. There are also a couple of just end the game scenarios.

Synergy number 1 is Renata and Jiang. This turns every creature, token or not, into a mana dork. That in turn triples up with the Nyxborn. Yes MCL, but it’s still a theory.

Synergy number 2 is Single Combat and Dawn of Hope against more midrange/creature matchups. If you remove your opponent’s board, and refill the same turn (see synergy one(w/or w/o ancient)) a single buff like Forerunners can end the game on the spot.

Synergy number 3 Daxos and Dawn of Hope. Pure and simple, 4 mana, get a 1/1, gain 1 life, draw a card. If you have Heliod it’s a 2/2. That’s not terrible. And it’s instant speed.

Synergy number 4 is obvious. Bishop of Wings and Divine Visitation. Pure and simple, Dawn of Hope tokens become Angels. Angels gain 4 life from the bishop. Angel token dies, a new angel is born and you gain 4 life again.

Other thoughts: The ‘B-Team’ Elspeth is actually strong. Obviously she only has 2 abilities as I’m not utilizing her -2 at all. But buffing tokens is good, and the ultimate is a kill. And unlike most tier B walkers hers comes rather quickly at 3 turns. I think she can be actually good. Not game breaking, but good.

Any suggestions and critiques are always welcome. Again I’m not expecting this deck to win a MCQ or anything like that, it’s above kitchen table, and below pro level plays. I want something fair, balanced, and fun. Something that makes people think. I have a few things for the Sideboard I’m looking at, but I think it depends on how the meta looks.
