How's straight w/b looking post rotation?

I'm thinking of making a w/b standard deck since I already own 4 copies of the recently spoiled Caves of Koilos . Are there any standout w/b strategies? Underworld Coinsmith is one of the only cards I saw that looked decent.

I'm currently running WB, but it's an odd, unconventional sort of deck.
Standard BW Pillow Fort Playtest

I think BW will be a strong force post rotation due to them keeping Athreos, God of Passage (I still think he's way underrated; maybe just because of the current meta), Banishing Light , Thoughtseize , etc.

I will be sure to checkout your deck list thanks for the helpful comment that was worth wasting your time typing out!

WB will be ok post rotation but it loses a few of its stars obzedat being one and because of that I just dont think it will hold up post rotation

It's losing everything from MBD in addition to Obzedat, Ghost Council , Blood Baron of Vizkopa , Sin Collector , Blind Obedience , and you won't have Xathrid Necromancer .
But you might as well wait to see what we get in the remaining M15 spoilers and Khans of Tarkir, which we currently know nothing about beyond Sarkhan and Dragons.

Yeah I think that if I do endup building a deck it'll be some type of Underworld Coinsmith deck. Maybe heroic auras

You might find it interesting to check out my thoughts on this. I recently took this deck to GP Chicago and did well, the problem is that most of the weenies that make up the deck are rotating
and this is my initial thoughts for post rotation:
W/B Aggro Post Rotation, Enchantment Playtest

I think Athreos, God of Passage has some cool interaction with the recently spoiled Necromancer's Stockpile. If they kill a creature of yours you have a chance to bounce it to your hand where you can either re-cast OR discard and draw, or possibly even net a token if you are running Grim Guardian or Spiteful Returned etc.

That's getting a bit ambitious. Then you've got 2 different spells that don't really help your aggro strategy.

it is impossible to speculate on rotation as there are 3/4s of M15 yet to be spoiled and ALL of Khans of Tarkhir

I guess I wasn't thinking this would be an aggro shell. Since most of W/B's staple weenies (lol) are rotating I was thinking with all the digging the new enchantment provides it would be more of a mid-range slow burn with plenty of answers to dig for.
Hard to say either way though until we see everything.

kungfuturtle u have it backwards there are 3/4s of M14 already spoiled but there is still khans of takir

either way asking what standard will look like while over a 30 percent of the card pool for said standard format we haven't the slightest clue about is a fool's errand, the best way to remotely speculate is to look at the list of Block Constructed

I think lord007's list is very helpful. I may just endup making a black aggro deck with Master of the Feast and Spiteful Returned still doing some thinking though.

Glad I could help! Check back after M15 is completely spoiled/added to TappedOut cause I'll have a change or two for both decks

My immediate thooughts were WB control. Great kill spells in Hero's Downfall , Bile Blight , Devouring Light , Banishing Light , and maybe Ulcerate (which isn't in the database yet!). Then you get Sign in Blood , Read the Bones , or Pain Seer for draw power. Phyrexian Revoker helps with planeswalker control and additional pressure. Raise the Alarm and Thoughtseize seem like good includes. Elspeth, Sun's Champion and Liliana Vess look like decent finishers. Hushwing Gryff and Deicide are good in the sideboard. Maybe Spear of Heliod could fit.

Don't forget Mind Rot and Brain Maggot for that deck too. (Maybe not Mind Rot but you get the idea)
If anyone is curious, I've updated a plethora of W/B aggro decks for post rotation. (along with a simple white-weenies deck). I'll link below but not using the large link to not take up a huge amount of forum space.
Current:
Post Rotation:
W/B Aggro Post Rotation, Enchantment
W/B Aggro Post Rotation, Exile
W/B Aggro Post Rotation, Power
