Glittering Wish

I have a budget junk deck (typical list minus goyf and lili). Instead of just having a worst version of an established deck, what do you guys think of adding a Glittering Wish package to change it up a little bit?

Did you see this list?

Could be a thing... Maybe try out some combination of the charms in the side? As for powerful multicolored cards, I'd look for sideboard staples and play them as 1 or 2 ofs, so you can go the reactive route. However if you want to go proactive, you could play Voice of Resurgence and Wilt-Leaf Liege...

Sigarda, Host of Herons is a nice threat for when you need to be pro-active, stop opposing lili activations and gets around removal.

If you're on a budget, then Fiery Justice and Kavu Predator are phenominal additions to the deck. They get even better with Grove of the Burnwillows.

One thing is for sure when playing this deck: it's goddamn awesome to have 16 kill spells mainboard with a plethora of Glittering Wish targets in the side.

Here's a pretty good budget-ish Abzan midrange build with Wish on T/O, may give you some ideas:

How effective has wish been in the field?

APPLE01DOJ - The link you posted was the first real result I've seen. But it seems to me there's room out there for another non-Jund BGx build alongside the usual Junk midrange, which has been waning a bit. The meta is pretty diverse at the moment; and to me, that's where Wish decks should have some serious advantage.

Glad to see it has some support at least. At the moment the fetchable sideboard cards I am using are:

-Abrupt Decay

-Dromoka's Command

-Fracturing Gust

-Fulminator Mage

-Heroes' Reunion

-Maelstrom Pulse

-Putrefy

-Sigarda, Host of Herons

-Sorin, Lord of Innistrad

I was also thinking of removing my second basic swamp and adding a Blood Crypt in its place to give me some more sideboard options. With the addition of red a few options come to mind:

-Kolaghan's Command

-Terminate

-Firespout

-Blightning

-Jund Charm

What do you guys think of this red splash and what are some good options for it?

Pillar of the Paruns makes splashing a fourth color really easy (in your case, red). I'd probably play Lightning Helix and Lightning Bolt over Jund Charm and Blightning.

Firespout, Wear / Tear, Slaughter Games, and Dreadbore or Terminate are really powerful Glittering Wish choices. I'd even go as far as "Why are you not playing Firespout and Wear / Tear already?" You can blow some decks out with them.

@sylvannos

I'm not really splashing a color. I have one red source for wish targets and those red mana-symbols will never be main deck. So I don't really like Pillar of the Paruns and Lightning Bolt is actually unplayable. Also is Wear / Tear necessary in a 75 that has four copies of Abrupt Decay and two copies of Maelstrom Pulse? I do however love Slaughter Games and I could see Dreadbore being really nice as well.

@Baltec: ah, okay. I wasn't sure since your deck on your profile is private.

Wear / Tear is just one of those that's way too good not to play. The important factor is that it costs only , making it easier to crawl out from under Blood Moon by fetching a Plains.
