I just read a funny flavor text from the new set from the card appetite-for-brains, and thought it was funny/disgusting. So i ask you fellow TappedOut users, what is your favorite flavor text?

Granite Shard is pretty good. Goblin-related flavor texts usually are.

The pyromancer summoned up her mightiest onslaught of fire and rage. Jace feigned interest.
I mean Caley's top 10 flavor text for counterspells is pretty sweet and had me laughing and enjoying playing blue.

but the best by far in my opinion as an engineer and lover of all things maths is Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind spelling out his name in a mathematical function kinda sick ass way :-) i bet mafteechr may like that one too?!?!?

I forgot about Niv-Mizzet. Definitely one of the best flavor texts of all time.

Since a lot of you like this thread i figured i would throw out a few more i thought were funny...Patrol Hound, Foul Imp, and since we were on the topic of funny goblins...Brightstone Ritual. Enjoy, and please share more, im sure their are plenty of good flavor texts that we have'nt said yet.

i really like the flavour texts on shadowmoor block lands (which are by far my favourite lands too) expecially as it is quite unusual for lands to have flavour text :-) Cascade Bluffs, Fetid Heath, Fire-Lit Thicket, Flooded Grove, Graven Cairns, Mystic Gate, Rugged Prairie, Sunken Ruins, Twilight Mire, Wooded Bastion

The Ice Age printing of Panic had the flavor text of "If you'd have been there, you'd have run from that deer too. - Jaya Ballard, Task Mage". Jaya Ballard has my favorite lines.
I also really like Vodalian Mage's 2nd flavor text from Fallen Empires. "Come back, cowards Everyone knows Merfolk can't wield magic" Pashadar Dirf, Goblin Flotilla Commander, last words

Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind's flavor text is (Z->)90-(E-N2W)90+=1
Turn the areas that have 90 next to them 90 to the right.

How can anyone not have mentioned Goblin Grenade from Fallen Empires. It reads "According to accepted theory, the grenade held some kind of flammable mixture and was carried to it's target by a hopeless goblin". What makes it funny is on the card a goblin is jumping through the air with a bomb on his back and he is holding a chain or something that will let him release the pin in the grenade. This is my fav.

Goblin Chieftain is pretty good. It looks like he is getting ready to hit you and the text says It's time for the smash smash song".
