My Attempt at best Rakdos Minotuar Tribal Commander

My answer to a TypicalTimmy's Commander im not try out do him by any means but I wanted to show what I'm looking for in a Minotaur commander.
Tarngrath, Talruum Leader 3
Legendary Creature- Minotaur Warrior
Other Minotaurs you control gain +2/+0 and Trample while attacking
Whenever a non token creature that was dealt damage dies create a 2/3 red minotaur creature token with haste.
At the beginning of your postcombat main phase, add or for every 2 life your opponents have lost this turn.
I'm not sure all of that text would fit on a card. Have you tried cardsmith or anything?
Also, getting a free 4/3 (with this guys boost) every time a minotaur dies is broken. It needs a non-token clause at the very least or your tokens replace themselves over and over.
The extra mana this produces is also over the top. Maybe or for each creature that dealt combat damage to a player but definitely not for each life lost.

Last Laugh for the token generation your right needs to be nontoken. As for the mana generation ability it literally just Neheb, the Eternal's ability with being able to make black or red mana not just red and yes you can fit alot of text in a card Wizards have done so before they've even done more than mine to the point that the text is tiny

It's Neheb's ability but you've tacked so much extra onto this card without paying for it. You're still a 5 drop with 10 total power/toughness but you have a buncha keywords, an anthem, and 2 more abilities tacked on. The fact that he has haste means his ability immediately pays for himself if your opponent doesn't have 2 blockers up... that's gross.

Last Laugh He has 5 power and by himself doesn't buff himself so I don't where you got 10 power from. Yes he has haste but so I don't see a problem. And yes you two creatures to block him but by turn 5 your opponents should usally have at least two creatures ,they won't always but you won't alway get him out turn 5 either. And even if does damage at most you'll get 5 mana... ok I may have to tone his power down may 3 instead of 5 maybe cut Menace and even if you damage you won't get the token so I think with a bit of tweaking he'll be fine maybe a bit powerful but there worse creatures out there with more power creep than him that wizards has made.

10 TOTAL implies you added at least 2 numbers together lol... thus power/toughness. You've altered it a bit so it's 9 total now.
Also, being a 5 drop doesn't mean turn 5. This is easily ramped into by turn 3-4 on avg. which would mean you would have access to 10 mana (commander +5) that early. X mana is also much scarier with access to black thanks to X spells that hit all opponents like Exsanguinate and Torment of Hailfire.

Ok, some changes were made so it looks better. I'm still not thrilled by that mana ability and it has the potential to be very abuseable but at least you have to jump through a few more hoops to make that happen. Have you talked to people in your playgroup and/or LGS? (Assuming you actually plan to build it)

Last_Laugh It total is now 8 increased his power by one but weakened his mana abiliy so if he hits full force it's only 2 mana and even if a X/1 blocks him you only get one mana, yes it can abused (so can like 80% of cards if used right) but it can also be abused on neheb so I don't know what your problem with this ability on him is, unless you have problem with ability in general. That seem to be your major issue with this card but take that away and you just get a worse Sethron, Hurloon General and that just what this basically is a altered Sethron that can ramp, if Sethron just gave some form of ramp he would be a perfect commander (he would still be perfect if minotaurs got more ramp in general other than ritual mana).
I gave Haste, Trample and Menace to him originally to showcase what I think are three keywords that minotaurs should focus on, not saying every minotaur needs all three but these are three i think of when i think of minotaurs. And red black has access to haste and menace but not trample since it mainly a green thing so if even one minotaur lord gave trample in than im fine with it

I had to make a few small tweaks to get it to fit with normal sized text. I picked some random minotaur art that felt Rakdos to me. Let me know what you think lol?

Yeah, it looks good for the cost instead of broken.
You got me started on creating cards though lol. I just made a pair of Orzhov cards. The vampire below and a weird variation of Grave Pact that triggers off opponents nonland permanents entering the grave (that I started a thread for because it was difficult to word so it didn't just keep triggering).
Valcur, Orzhov Ascendant Legendary Creature- Vampire 5/5
Whenever a creature an opponent controls dies, Valcur gets -1-1 until end of turn.
At the beginning of each opponents end step, that player chooses 3 creatures they control then sacrifices the rest.

Last_Laugh while overpowdered at the start I've been thing about this what i want in minotaur commander for a while so and it came down to a few things
Make tokens: As there only two token makers for minotuar and one is a bad 5 drop that make two tokens. yes there a beefy 2/3 with haste but it's too expensive for that, if it was a four drop or an instant than it would so much better. This wouldn't even be a thing if Sethron didn't make tokens, I would of just ignored Flurry of Horns as a one off and something not to associate with minotaurs
Give trample-A minor thing it is more of a personal thing but if a 800lbs+ beefcake is charging you, your most likely going to be both flatten unless your also beefy or have a big thick shield that rammed into the ground, or your gonna be running the other way as fast as you can hence why I think minotaurs need trample and menace (or fear/intimidate) and bulls are fast IRL and it's been shown in lore and flavor texts that minotaur charges are fast so they need haste. But this less to make the viable and more for flavor
3.RAMP RAMP RAMP- Since rakdos lacks any real ramp except for rituals minotaurs need more, while the zombie Nehebs help since minotaurs have a higher average casting cost than most with only few like dragons and demons being higher it becomes more obvious.
4.Keep to their theme- Minotaur's are mostly a mid to late game aggressive play style so having a commander that helps with that would be great
So made a card that hits all four may of needed tinkering but i think this would be the best minotaur commander personally

You can easily get to about 10 pieces of ramp in Rakdos. Talisman of Indulgence, Rakdos Signet, Sol Ring, Fellwar Stone, Arcane Signet, Mind Stone, Thought Vessel, Sword of the Animist, and Herald's Horn (if you've got enough minotaurs). Dockside Extortionist and Mana Crypt too if you already got 'em or are able to proxy. Generator Servant is nice also if you really want to ramp into something once and give it haste (or 2 hastey creatures if you spend on each.).
If you actually build this... consider Pain Magnification in your list. It's kinda a curse all opponents type effect as you or your opponents can make each other discard (but not you).

The card seems interesting as it is now.
But TBH the thing Minotaur tribal needs right now, is more playable minotaurs in the 99. The Commander is a lesser concern to me, but easier to create.
As for Last_Laugh's Orzhov suggestion Show
I think you're hampering the Commander a bit more than need be. I get that it's a Legendary creature and thus Commander accessible, but there's Archfiend of Depravity that does what this does better and safer.
Perhaps it could be a punisher-esque mechanic instead?
"At the beginning of each opponent's end step, that player chooses up to two creatures they control. For each other creature they control not chosen this way, that player may pay 2 life and put two +1/+1 counters on Valcur. Otherwise they sacrifice that creature."
Either they give blood tribute that strengthens Valcur to save their creatures, or Valcur takes blood from those creatures.

Tzefick Archfiend of Depravity was where I got the idea for that in the first place (I love that card!).
My thought process was I made it cheaper, gave it deathtouch, 1 more toughness, and a more relevant creature type. Vamps easily get +1+1 counters and anthems, so I added a downside to offset that.
I could probably match the 2 creatures like Archfiend but felt it'd be too hard to keep alive at that point.
