Hello folks!
So this was my response against all the top tier decks in the format and to develop a deck that has at least a 50/50 against all the major decks in the format. (Atarka Red, G/W Megamorph, Jeskai / Jeskai Black, Any Color Aristrocrats)
The design of this deck is to develop some cards to Process using Fathom Feeder, Transgress the Mind, and Horribly Awry to be able to fully use Ulamog's Nullifier.
Hand disruption is setup not just to deal with some major problem creatures and planeswalkers like Gideon and Mantis Rider, but to also make sure we don't get blindsided with a problem card.
Treasure Cruise, Ob Nixilis Reignited, and Fathom Feeder are the major draw engines in the deck.
Treasure Cruise is used mainly because it avoids Dispel and allows us an extra mana which can be relevant based on our lands that we play.
Ob Nixilis on an empty board can spell the end of my opponent if I ultimate.
Fathom Feeder is basically a super MVP in many different instances. Not only is he awful to fight against because of deathtouch, but causes many issues with swinging in with Deathmist Raptor or Siege Rhino when they have no other relevant spells in their hand with your revealing hand disruption.
Blighted Fen has done EXTREMELY WELL against an "End of Turn Ojutai's Command" to get back a Jace. Not only do you get to save a counter spell, but you essentially nerf an entire spell with a land.
You know what feels really good? Dragonlord Silumgar'ing a Dragonmaster Outcast and just allowing your opponent to die to his own Outcast.
You know what's swell? Playing Sire of Stagnation and the Jeskai control deck having to keep every single card in their hand because playing lands helps you!
Maybe Cards: 1 Skyline Cascade, which may actually be better to be a Smoldering Marsh. This way, we could use Red Sideboard Cards and allow us to fetch it with 8 of our fetchlands.
4 Treasure Cruise, these could theoretically be Dig Through Time after playtesting, as you can select 7 relevant cards. I hate using Dig with 8 Fetchlands however.
Sideboard Choices: 2 Dispel for the control match-up. 1 Displacement Wave for the heavy Hangarback Walker decks. 1 Ruinous Path, 4 Wasteland Strangler, and 1 Crux of Fate specifically for the G/W Megamorph and Atarka Red decks. 2 Negate and 1 Despise for more control heavy match-ups. Finally 3 Self-Inflicted Wound for practically everything.
