Thing in the Ice Mill

Modern Mill UB (Dimir)

Roccovsky

This isn't intended as a competitive modern deck, per se. It's more a casual deck that happens to be modern-legal.

I haven't included Archive Trap on account of not having any way to encourage library searching. Casual games don't feature quite as much land-fetching as competitive Magic does. And I haven't included Ghost Quarter because this deck is already one big dick-move.

It's a run-of-the-mill approach to this archetype (hardy-har), except that it employs Thing in the Ice   as an alternate win-con. We sacrifice a little bit of speed for an inevitable one-sided board-wipe and a 7/8 Awoken Horror   . Much more resilient and inevitable than straight milling.

There's no sideboard, since I don't plan to take this to any tournaments.
