My idea for this deck was to have lots of answers to my opponents so that I can be more sure I'll get to my combo of Donate + Illusions of Grandeur . Nightscape Familiar makes the combo easier to pull off, sometimes both pieces in the same turn, but also makes many of the card advantage and control spells cheaper (takes Fire / Ice from "meh" to excellent). I saw someone else doing a Burning Wish sideboard with a Donate in it, thought that was excellent and did the same- I have 9 targets to wish for, some of which can be devastating. Lim-Dul's Vault is great for getting the other piece, in Illusions of Grandeur. Sure I'll lose some life getting to it, but I'm hopefully about to gain 20! Saprazzan Skerry, if used only for the combo, can complete it a turn sooner (use once to get illusion out, use next turn on upkeep and make your land drop for donate). Zur's Weirding is my own spice in the brew, it can keep my opponent from drawing a way out, but also I can probably out-bid them in the long term. Thanks for looking.
