Khans —Sept. 22, 2014
Updated the deck for Khans. Not sure which extra cards I will add from it yet. Suggestions are welcome.

I'd cut Heroes' Bane for more Kalonian Hydra . Also, Experiment One and Scavenging Ooze could both be good here.

I really dig this deck, but think Unravel the Aether over Fade into Antiquity and Plummet over Skyreaping if you have no board and a Desecration Demon to deal with. Also check out my Mono-Green aggro/devo Badger Jitsu , currently my favorite deck of all.

I love this deck! I love finding mono green fans! I myself have a mono green deck. If youd like to, I have my deck here. Beasts, Hydras, and Primordials! Oh my!. I feel like this deck needs a bit more aggro. How much mana do you pump out on average?

I like mine better, and Reverent Hunter is crap because they can get it easy with a shock because its ability is on the stack when it comes into play. Too many hydra, only good one i see in there is Polukranos, World Eater (should be 4 copies mainboard) the other ones need to be scraped. Primeval Bounty is also much more of a sideboard card too.

Also I'd cut 1 Nylea, God of the Hunt for 1 Garruk, Caller of Beasts . If you got multiple gods stuck in your hand, that's a lot worse than a few garruks stuck in your hand. Also I'd cut an Arbor Colossus for a land. Arbor Colossus is a good card, but running 3 5 drops against flyers basically (not tons of out of control flyers in standard that you can't kill with a monstrous polukranos), when there is not that much in the set. Zoo aggro - mid-range is not suppose to have tons of high drops and if they do, they run more land. My zoo deck runs pretty smooth and beats tier 1 decks consistently. Your sideboard needs a lot of work. What do you play against boros burn?

I agree. Mine is a crazy mana pumping deck, where I drop creatures like that turn 2! Burning-Tree Emissary + Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx = MANA!!!!

I would recommend putting some Worldspine Wurm in your deck for late game and putting Karametra's Acolyte for more mana amd getting rid of some Voyaging Satyr

NO! Don't listen to Im_NotoriouzZz (no offense intended). I like the Worldspine Wurm Idea and the Karametra's Acolyte , but by no means should you take out Voyaging Satyr . With Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx that Voyaging Satyr can get you lots of mana to throw away. Considering you already have this combo, I would suggest mainboarding Mistcutter Hydra . And if you are going to splash red for Ruric Thar, the Unbowed , you could add in Savageborn Hydra .

Do NOT get rid of Voyaging Satyr . The interaction between the satyr and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx is just too strong. I could see swapping out a few of your Sylvan Caryatid for Karametra's Acolyte . I run a similar deck and with only 4 ways to draw mana from your devotion, there are times when you simply don't draw Nykthos. The Caryatid certainly helps in this situation but Karametra's Acolyte helps more and with the other mana producers, getting to 4 mana isn't hard.
Worldspine Wurm is by far the best target for Garruk, Caller of Beasts second ability and the fact that you generate enough mana to hardcast it usually anyway... I'm inclined to agree that it deserves a spot in the deck

Also, Karametra's Acolyte can be fetched with Garruk, Caller of Beasts +1 ability so another reason to include it

I dig your deck! I see you have Ruric Thar, the Unbowed in your maybeboard -- I would highly suggest bringing him into the side (if you feel like splashing red mana). Works greaaaaat against all those control decks who just run one AEtherling . I had a very similar deck that I splashed red into, if you're interested check it out: Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are (G/R) Devotion!
