Everybody knows being illiterate is the coolest, but it also means you can't read. This leads to things like putting Broadside Bombardiers into the deck even though Boast is bad poopoo garbage for us. We use good garbage around here!

Swapped out for Connecting the Dots.

In other news, Maskwood Nexus has been very fun, leading to interesting lines and interactions in every game it was played. Best one was against slivers making all my Goblins swole af, and then dodging The Argent Etchings  Flipboard wipe because they were Phyrexian Goblins too. I haven't yet grabbed a Purphoros, God of the Forge or a Toralf, God of Fury  Flip off of Moggcatcher or Goblin Matron because of the Nexus, but soon!

Generous Plunderer

Another solid treasure generator. I can't see us attacking with it often, but this combined with our other "Group Thug" ("T for treasure, H for hate"-Ib Halfheart) treasure cards this could really snowball.

Also pretty intrigued by Fomori Vault as a card filter.

Aceh: He definitely does! That is a very good card, and I have been busy in the toenail mines and hadn't seen it yet.

That also reminds me that back in the first couple versions of the deck I had Siege-Gang Commander, but had taken it out because there wasn't enough ramp, and the treasure cards didn't exist yet. It may be time to try getting him back in as well now that the deck can ramp pretty well, and freecast often.

Brilliant primer, one of the best on TappedOut.

[enter link description here]You've had Valakut Exploration as a card in your list sometime earlier this year and I agreed when you removed it from the 99 list, however I'm going to try out Dragonhawk, Fate's Tempest from Bloomburrow as it gives a better effect (exiling more cards) and deals twice as much out of the gate. We don't need to rely on landfall.

Food for thought.

Aceh: Both of these suggestions are great. I will give up my first-third born so I can petition Ib to put them in!

Being a part of the Great Ibfederacy isn't that much different than a regular job, it could also use more middle managers!

Adding General Kreat, the Boltbringer and Howlsquad Heavy to the already very bloated top end of this company (both the military term and the fact that this is a pyramid scheme).

Also a touch of cannon fodder is always worth squirting into the soup, so bring in Goblin Negotiation.

Someone said mo' money, mo' problems, but whoever that was is a stupid. Adding Hell to Pay.

Climate change is definitely probably not real, so the soldiers claiming Heat Stroke are either lying or someone snuck one of those molten succubi into camp again again.

I'll announce who is getting fired and which permanents are getting yeeted later when my teeth stop cramping.

So as always with Mono-Red, having a lean or empty hand is always a problem. Ib's fangirls (unisex term), what is a draw engine you would have added to this deck?

I, his ever-loyal servant, is thinking Mind's Eye. Do you have a better idea? If so Ib will take credit and denounce he has ever heard of you, the highest of all his honors.

Gerrard's Hourglass Pendant saw this card in another person's Ib deck, and I love it! Going to figure out how to fit it in ASAP.

A stray cat was found alive in the Bone Pit today, and Ib took a liking to it! Mostly because nothing has ever been found alive in the Bone Pit...

Sunspine Lynx

This goes well with our other Land Dysfunction spells, and being huge certainly doesn't hurt.

Aceh: Good find, that is probably one of the best token generators on a body we have available!

Much like all those orcs or whatever in Harry Potter crossing over the snowy mountains before being forced back into the mines (soooo jealous!) because those rock guys were fighting, today we say goodbye to the Glacial Crevasses!

You were good, but just like Ib tells all his favorite friends-turned-ammunition, just not quite good enough anymore...

Ib has decided to commit the greatest blasphemy and has cut Blood Moon and Magus of the Moon!!!

He claims that it is a form of torture that no longer excites him, and Father knows best after all...

Latest iteration of the deck has been running very well, with a 40+% winrate in my playgroups the last 2 months or so.

Removing the Blood Moon effects has really only been positive. A lot of the success of the deck (at least the way I like to play it) is to be the smallest threat at the table, and then taking over everything the next turn or two. Any time an opponent questions attacking you because of your boardstate, but also knowing how explosive Ib can be, is a win in my book.

My favorite thing about the deck continues to improve, which is the play patterns and wincons feel new every time. That feels great to play and play against.

City on Fire has been a powerhouse every single time I land it. There is so much incidental damage in the deck I will likely make tweaks for more damage uppers/doublers.

The amount of searching and shuffling is getting tiresome, so I will probably streamline the landbase a bit here soon.

Of all the recent editions, only Sunspine Lynx has underperformed. It being a 4 drop isn't necessarily a problem, but being a non-Goblin has been more impactful than expected.

Repercussion also allowed me to turn a 2nd place finish into a forced table-wide draw from all of us dying at the same time. Not winning but not losing is a win IMO!

All fetches out for three more snow-covered basics and a Horizon of Progress!

In the past I have had more reasons for needing top deck manipulation, but now it's really just Conspicuous Snoop.

There are a bunch of cards I would run if EDH was added to MTGArena (Goblin Assassin for one!) but for playing in-person I really want to shuffle as little as possible, so fetches are out!

Sunspine Lynx and Nahiri's Lithoforming
