I don't think it's better than anything I've currently got in the deck; affinity doesn't reduce the cost to copy it when it's imprinted on Prototype Portal and by the time it would be super cheap to cast, I'll usually have lots of mana from 'Posts and mana dorks anyway.

Thanks for the suggestion, aced420, but Mycosynth Golem is not budget friendly, unfortunately.
Thanks for the +1, Gspot. I have to say I am pretty happy with the way the name worked out for this deck.

Shrine of Loyal Legions could be a nice addition, a lot of my opponents forget about it until I crack it for a flood of 1/1s. Also Hovermyr is a good one to take care of any flying decks you come up against. +1 from me

Unwinding Clock or Voltaic Key are both pretty sweet, compared to Clock of Omens, i think, but its all you. good deck. I like myr.

Thanks for the feedback, DBCooper. Clock of Omens just synergises much better with Prototype Portal and a ton of mana.

I think your deck has way too much mana. The only expensive thing you have in here is Myr Battlesphere and posibly Prototype Portal. I'd say remove the Glimmerposts, and Cloudposts, since you already have a playset of Expedition Maps. I don't think you really need FOUR Myr Battlespheres either; three should be enough. I'd also suggest replacing the land with a few Myr Propagators or Myr Matrixs to put to use that infinite mana combo, although it will still work without it. If you still have extra room, I'd add one or two Lodestone Myr due to how much damage you could do with the infinite tokens you'd acquire from Myr Propagator and Myr Matrix. Another good card, albeit expensive, for this would be Tezzeret the Seeker , as it can autocard most of the things in your deck. Other than than the Myr Battlesphere. Most of this stuff should be within your budget, minus Tezzeret the Seeker , so i hope the suggestions are useful.

Thanks for the feedback, jdave99.
I have actually already been thinking about altering the lands, although it would definitely be the Urza lands that I would replace, not the Locuses. Tezzeret is just way too expensive, plus I would like to keep the deck completely colourless. Myr Propagator and Lodestone Myr are already on my maybeboard to test. Myr Matrix is a good idea and I've put it on my maybeboard but I don't think I'm going to be able to get any; it's just out of stock everywhere I look.

Hey, great deck ! I have a similar deck i use for casual play, and i've always struggled against flying aggro decks. They simply wreck me even if i manage to get out a battlesphere early or something. What would you recommend against flying ? Since i play my deck in blue i thought about counterspells but i'm not a fan. I'm an artifact guy so if you have any ideas, feel free to tell me! Again, great deck i haven't thought of Prototype Portal

Although they are high in mana, not very cost efficient, not myrs, and illegal in official decks, I suggest either the Platinum Angel or the Platinum Emperion. I can see the strategy in this deck, but I know some people who would have killed me way before I got to play any powerful myrs.

@shadow63, Ghostfire Blade is better suited to much more aggressive decks than this. Also, you linked to a user's profile page, not your deck.
@Comicaz, if you've got the money for it you could try All Is Dust to wipe the board, Akroma's Memorial to give all your creatures flying, or Platinum Angel/Platinum Emperion to forcibly stop yourself losing. Scourglass would be a significantly more budget friendly board-wipe but forces you into white, or Thopter Assembly could work as a repeating source of flying chump-blockers. Tomb of the Spirit Dragon can also a lot of breathing room against aggro decks as long as you can get enough creatures on the board in time.
@Halphinian, both the Angel and Emperion are just too expensive for my budget, plus I really would prefer to keep all the creatures in the deck Myr to keep it on theme.

@Lame_Duck: I know where you are coming from, the only way I can afford cards is the $2.15 profit I get to keep from working minimum wage :(

I was looking at a Myr deck mysewlf, although i was working with blue Myr's for Reshape and Blue Sun's Zenith for more reliability.
April 28, 2015 11:11 a.m.
Yeah, Reshape and Blue Sun's Zenith definitely make sense, but I want to keep this deck colourless and I've found the utility lands pretty useful too.

Use Myr Matrix to get infinite 4/4 myrs because of the infinite mana combo, also you do not need to tap Myr Matrix to play the abiliy

Infinite damage to the opponent by tapping unlimited Myr on Myr Battlesphere. Myr Matrix also produces infinite tokens Add Tomb of the Spirit Dragon to get Infinite life with the second ability.
June 12, 2015 3:15 p.m.
I'm already running the 'Sphere and the Tomb. The Matrix is already in the maybeboard and I intend to replace the Myr Propagators for it, but I've just not bought any yet because I've been using my money on other decks at the moment.

Maybe replacing 4x Buried Ruin for 4x Myr Reservoir or even 2x would work since you have somany mana producing myr

Also when doing the infinite mana combo you use Myr Galvanizer so you could replace the Myr Battlesphere with it to make X X-1/X-1 myr where X is infinity.

How about Myr Enforcer as another finisher???
