First off, thanks for clicking on this deck before that other one, y'all are great. After a blast of genius from The7thBobba, I decided to try my hand at a Fungus Upkeep Deck. I'll show ya around.
Doubling Season- Provides the same function as Paradox Haze, only for one more mana. Gotta have it.
As Foretold- You get free stuff a lot faster, saw this card and automatically found space for it.
Sporoloth Ancient, Utopia Mycon , Thallid Shell-Dweller- The worker bees of the deck. With Paradox Haze and/or Doubling Season out, you get a minimum of two Spore counters per turn, which is a powerhouse for tokens, not to mention helping by proliferate and populate.
Mycoloth- Alone, it's a great card. With Doubling Season and/or Paradox Haze, its absolutly unbelieveable.
Growing Ranks- Populating multiple times each turn. The real questiong is why wouldn't I include this card?
Thelon of Havenwood- Being able to pay for his last ability with Utopia Mycon is great, his buff makes all of my spores into pretty huge threats, especially if I let the counters build up. With multiple upkeeps, my creatures easily get permanent +4/+4 each turn. Perfect.
Inexorable Tide- Proliferate every turn. Yet another way to get more counters. Absolutly brilliant.
Darksteel Reactor did I mention that with any upkeep/proliferate/token shananagens, it's game over.
Mana Leak, Naturalize- my main control aspect of the deck.
Tezzeret's Gambit- Draw some cards, then proliferate. I like it. Solid.
Coat of Arms- Deadly, especially with tokens.
Thelon of Havenwood+ Any creature except Sporemound- super buff that is only made more of an issue with upkeep extentions.
Growing Ranks+ Paradox Haze/Doubling Season- Populating at least twice every turn means more mana from Utopia Mycon and more creatures on the battlefield.
Coat of Arms+ Any amount of Spores/Fungi- pumping out 5+ spore tokens that get a permanant +5/+5 every turn!
Paradox Haze+Sporoloth Ancient- get a 1/1 token from each creature every turn.
