Budget scales deck I'm building for a friend. Not interested in going down the artifact route, I like big green beaters.

I'm aware that the mana base could do with work so I've put that in the maybeboard. I also worry that the deck lacks draw - long term that would be fine with Dark Confidants but until then what's the best budget alternatives? Would Collected Company work in this deck?

All suggestions appreciated (doesn't have to be budget because I can bear the suggestion in mind for future upgrades) especially regarding the sideboard.
