When you cast this spell, target opponent exiles half their library, rounded up.
Ward—Sacrifice two permanents. (Whenever this creature becomes the target of a spell or ability an opponent controls, counter it unless that player sacrifices two permanents.)
Ulamog, the Defiler enters the battlefield with a number of +1/+1 counters on it equal to the greatest converted mana cost/mana value among cards in exile.
Ulamog has annihilator X, where X is the number of +1/+1 counters on it. (Whenever this creature attacks, defending player sacrifices X permanents.)

Optimator, very much so. I have a Ulamog, the Defiler deck. Since that entire deck is focused on mana ramp and mana combos, he constantly comes out around turn four. LOL

I am a big fan of tribal. I too have an Eldrazi build. Good stuff. 1+ for sure. In my opinion Ulamog, the Defiler is a much more aggressive commander if you are wanting to be a hater. You might want to consider Urza's Incubator.

Bad news, Myriad Landscape can only find a second Basic land that shares a type, and Wastes are actually untyped Basics, so you can only ever find the one. Maybe switch it out for Wayfarer's Bauble, which can find a Waste (and can do so the turn you cast if you draw it late, where as Myriad would have made you wait a turn due to ETB tapped).
It's really out there, but if you can draw enough cards/tutor up for some lands then maybe Walking Atlas is worth looking at?
I feel like seeing Assault Suit was a real lightbulb moment for me, that'd be hilarious on a Blightsteel Colossus (or even Darksteel Colossus), possibly even more chaotic on an Ulamog, the Defiler (though even Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger would do major work), all cards I'm already using. The deck could even use another Political element, so thanks for posting this!

Been A minute Forgot my password to Archangel200600 so this is my new account I have a few recommendations/questions about some new cards you might like 1st of all how do you feel about the mh3 titans (Emrakul, the World Anew,Kozilek, the Broken Reality,Ulamog, the Defiler) 2nd how about Wandering Archaic Flip as it helps alot for some more protection, and then 3rd how do you feel about some different Rakdos Enablers like Creeping Bloodsucker,Keen Duelist, or Orcish Bowmasters. For card draw how do you feel about The One Ring

Good to know it's not just me and I am seeing it "correctly".
Majority of my EDH decks go through regular changes. I guess an easy one is looking at my Fundamentally Loathesome where I just added Ulamog, the Defiler and noticed inside the deck itself certainly shows the value increase but back in Decks it is still has a value hovering around when I input the deck :)
